Aidan and Payton met in 2020 at Kaiserslautern High School in Germany. Through mutual friends, they met and connected. When Aidan graduated from high school in 2021, they lost touch for almost a year. In 2021, they reconnected and started DMing each other on Instagram every couple of months to see how the other was doing. In the summer of 2023, after Payton graduated from Valparaiso High School, they reconnected for the final time. They officially started long-distance dating on July 23, 2023. They dated long distance until 2024 when Aidan moved from New Mexico to Indiana to be closer to Payton. They then continued with long-distance dating because Payton was attending Liberty University in Virginia. On May 16, 2025, Aidan took Payton on a nature walk. While Payton was taking pictures of the scenery, Aidan got down on one knee and proposed! They have planned their wedding for June 14, 2026, so that Payton can graduate from college. They are so excited to celebrate this special day with all their attendants!
