We're Getting Married!

We "met" each other on March 19th, 2023, after matching on Hinge. The first thing Aidan wrote to Lexie was that the best JoJo's around were from a gas station conveniency store in Eagle Creek. Lexie liked him immediately. We actually met, face-to-face, on March 9th. We met at a thrift store that Aidan had told Lexie about. We walked around for a little while in that store, but didn't end up buying anything. We then decided to see if we could find better things at the Goodwill bins in North Portland. We ended up getting there kind of late, so it was a bust, but we talked nonstop throughout the entire shopping trip. Aidan then took Lexie to this super bougie cafe near Laurelhurst, named La Buca. The food at that restaurant was delicious, and we both had a good time learning more about each other. We ended up both buying tiramisu, which was so, so good. We both learned on that date that we would also be able to talk for hours without ever running out of things to say. From there, we were seeing each other so often, we saw each other nearly every day. A few months in, we were living part time at Lexie's apartment, and part time at Aidan's parent's house. That's when we knew we had to move in together. Now we are living together, we have our cat baby Luna, and we are planning our wedding! It's funny to think that on our first date, we were too nervous to even touch each other the entire date, now, nearly 2 years later, we will be a married couple.
