In 2021, Anthony and Hannah met through an online computer game. That might sound crazy to some, but it's a multiplayer game and people frequently join a online voice chat to play the game together. They knew each other through playing the game together but it wasn't until May 2022 that they connected more as friends. They had conversations about the game, our dogs, school, work, and life in general. These conversations blossomed into more and resulted in Anthony taking his first ever flight to Buffalo in July 2022. This is where the real adventures began, from seeing Niagara Falls, to hiking at Watkins Glen, and going ziplining and on the ropes course at Holiday Valley. Less than 4 months later, Anthony surprised Hannah with another flight to NY to visit her for her 30th birthday. The good byes were tough and the long distance wasn't ideal but Hannah was excited to go visit Florida and they made plans for that in December. New York snow delayed the trip but in January, Hannah made it to Orlando where they visited Disney Springs and then St Augustine. Taking Hannah to the airport to fly back to New York, Anthony realized finding a way to get rid of the long distance part of the relationship was something he really wanted. They discussed options and Hannah moved to St Augustine in February of 2023. From there the adventures haven't ended. They've visited the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Volcano Bay. They've explored a few local Florida springs. They've taken day trips to botanical gardens and zoos. They've navigated new jobs together, shared holiday traditions, and seen the good and the bad of each other. They've shared some amazing joys with each other and some extreme grief and hardships together. Anthony and Hannah got engaged in September 2025 and they are so excited to share and celebrate their love with their families and friends!
