What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress, but also to dance. Think [cocktail/semi-formal/etc.]. If you’re debating between two outfits, wear the one that makes you feel like a wedding guest in a movie. We'd love for our guess to dress however they'd like-- excluding white of course as well as burgundy or cabernet red!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Parking is available on-site at Heartland Country Barn! We recommend arriving early to allow time to park and walk to the ceremony space!

Can I bring children/plus-one or other guests?

Answer

If your invitation says "and guest" you are welcome to bring someone along! If it does not included the following then no. Please only bring the guests and/or kids listed formally on your invitation.

What is the weather like during this time of year?

Answer

In Fremont as well as in Omaha, the weather typically brings warm summer days and mild evenings. Our ceremony will take place outdoors and our reception indoors.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to ensure you're seated and ready when the celebration starts.

Can I take photos?

Answer

We have hired a great team of photographers and a videographer! During the ceremony, no photos or videos please and thank you, but please feel free to take photos during the reception!

What if I didn’t RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will automatically be marked as "no". We will miss celebrating with you, but it is important that we provide our vendors with a final guest count within a reasonable timeframe so we can have the best experience. Thank you for understanding!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Absolutely! Drinks are on us — just please pace yourselves. Our venue does issue a $300 “oops” fee (I.e., vomits) if anyone gets sick, which would have to be covered by the responsible guest. Let’s keep the night fun, classy, and unforgettable!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors — with covered options in case of weather. The recreation will be held indoors.
