Sarah and Leonard were just two college students at Cal State Long Beach, studying hard for finals on a typical Wednesday evening. They’d both been invited to a group study session and didn’t think much of it. Little did they know, they were about to meet their future spouse! As Leonard walked into the basement floor of the library, he spotted Sarah and their two friends sitting at a table. They shook hands, introduced themselves, and went about their business. It wasn’t until Sarah asked Leonard for a sip of his coffee—seeking some liquid courage not only for the finals, but also to break the ice between the two of them—that things finally started to shift. Hours passed as they studied, chatted, played games, and got to know each other better. Eventually, the night came to an end, but that wasn’t enough for Leonard. He quickly set up two more study sessions where he and Sarah could "study" and continue talking for hours. After finals came to and end, they exchanged Snapchats, texted until 8 a.m., and the rest was history!
