That fall, they officially started dating and it didn’t take long for them both to realize this was something lasting. One year into dating, Ahmed gave Melody a promise ring - a thoughtful and meaningful commitment that he saw forever with her. She felt the same certainty in her heart. Over the next few years, their relationship was built through long drives to see each other, nightly phone calls, and the kind of long-distance love that strengthens rather than strains. Through every mile and every season, their faith and commitment only grew stronger. When Ahmed finally asked Melody to marry him, it felt like the natural next step in a story God had been writing all along. They are incredibly thankful and blessed to be stepping into marriage.
