What will the weather be like?

Answer

August weather in DC is hot and humid. The average daily highs in August are 86 degrees and average daily lows are 70 degrees. Make sure to factor in humidity since this can make August often feel like it is in the 90s or even the hundreds. It's not as bad as July, but it's still peak summer.

What can I bring as a wedding gift?

We kindly request no boxed gifts. Instead, we have a registry on this website and would greatly appreciate monetary gifts as we start our new life together. For your convenience, there will be a wedding box for cards at the reception. Thank you!

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Yes! We would love for you to take photos and vids but please do not block walkways and camera crew.
