BEFORE YOU TRAVEL
As you prepare for your trip to Greece, here are some essential tips to ensure a smooth
and enjoyable experience:
Travel Documents: Ensure your passport and any required travel documents are
up to date.
Currency: The official currency of Greece is the Euro (€), and no other currency is
accepted. Currency exchange is available at banks, exchange offices, and the airport (which often offers the best rates). Be sure to carry some cash, as there are smaller vendors, kiosks, and taxis that may not accept credit cards.
Electricity: Greece uses a 220V power supply. If you are traveling from a country
that uses 110V, bring a voltage converter or the appropriate plug adapter.
