Sam and Sara met on eharmony on Christmas night of 2019. They messaged each other for about 2 months (if you’re wondering why it took so long, because Sam was preparing for a cross country journey with his buddies to California. If you know you know 🤣). Sara finally got asked to go on a date and they went to Top Golf where Sara pretty much kicked his ass! After a few more dates they became a couple and enjoyed spending time out in the shop working on the off-road rig and other project vehicles, going on off-roading adventures, went to Flyers games together and spent time enjoying each others company.

Every year Sam’s family went on vacation for the week of Independence Day, usually to LBI. In 2022, they decided to go to Bethany Beach, DE. It was July 4th and the family went to the beach to see the fireworks. They took many pictures together as the sun went down. Later that night, as the fireworks were going off, Sam asked his mom to get a picture of he and Sara with the fireworks in the background. Little did Sara know, he had the ring in his hand while posing and smiling for pictures. Then, Sam faced Sara, dropped on one knee, opened up the box with the stunning ring he picked out for her and said, “You have helped me make my dreams come true and now it’s time for me to make your dreams come true! Will you marry me?” Of course, Sara said yes!
