Flights

Flights from the US to Mendoza are typically best with either Copa or LATAM. Copa has new routes connecting through Panama and are often the fastest from the US to MDZ with just 1 stop from many major US Cities. We will be traveling from DC on this route. LATAM typically connects through Santiago, Sao Paolo or Lima and is also a good option. From the UK, Its also possible to get to Mendoza with just 1 stop through either Buenos Aires, Sao Paolo or Santiago. British Airways is typically the main carrier to these hubs. Norwegian also provides a good budget option from LGW direct to Buenos Aires and also flies from Buenos Aires to Mendoza. Please note that any flights through Buenos Aires may require an airport change as it has 2 airports - 1 for domestic flights and 1 for international flights. However, Buenos Aires is well worth stopping in for a day or 2 if you have the time. In general, we recommend using Google Flights for flight searches and Hopper for price predictions/forecasts

Where to stay in Mendoza

We recommend staying in downtown Mendoza (where we plan to stay). Click on the link below to view a map we put together highlighting the best area to find accommodations and places of interest/ things to do around the city. Booking.com or Airbnb are great options to find apartments in the City, but there are some great hotels as well. The Diplomat, Park Plaza Hyatt Mendoza and The Executive are all great high-end options around the ~$50-$100/night range.
