We first met on a little friend outting. It wasn't love at first sight. Today, we look back in adoration to all the wonderful memories we shared during the beginnings of our growing friendship. A young man in a baseball cap with a youthful and unforgetable smile, and a quiet brunette in a fuzzy white sweater crossed paths for the first time at the riverside plaza to carpool with their friends to victoria gardens. Although our first meeting was not as eventul in terms of our growing relationship, there was a slow fondness that would grow in our hearts for eachother. Jerry's curiousity about getting to know this woman led his persistance to message her. A few weeks would pass and Jerry began messaging Victoria on instagram with silly animal videos to try and catch even a small conversation with her. It was clear to Victoria that he wanted her attention and slowly she started to give into these conversations despite her desire to enjoy her singleness. It was then that she discovered the heart and respectful manor this young man had held himself to. It quickly softened her heart as each encounter led to another. Jerry attempted several times to try and spend a few outing just the two of us. Victoria was alway hesitant at first, but the more they messaged online she began to see his sense of humor was contagious. At one point we did end up going on an outing in an attempt to help Jerry pick out some new clothes. Victoria had so much fun having him try differnet outfits simply because she knew he would never chose to wear this on his own. Another memorable outing was when Jerry tried boba for the first time and was't sure he liked the texture too much. So instead he kept using the boba as small spitballs to try and shoot into a nearby trashcan at the park. Our meetings in person were quickly limited when the dreaded lockdowns happened and so we would talk mostly over the phone or playing video games together to pass the time. This didn't give many opportunities for first dates. It was clear to Victoria that Jerry wanted more than just to be freinds and she was faced to challenge her previous desires. Turns out that decision wasn't so hard! She had realized that there was not a moment she wasn't smiling when she was around him or talking to him. Jerry too had felt the same. We simply made eachother so full of joy and laughter. So Jerry decided to make a leap and ask Victoria's dad if he could officially date his daughter. From that day, May 16, 2020, we became official. Our first date as a couple, we had gone on a hike at castle rock in big bear. Throughout our relationship we learned we truly wouldn't want to do life with anyone else. We have gone on countless adventures and neither of us knew what was coming. We have the most exciting and memorable part of our lives waiting at the end of our 5 year mark together. We are now in the year of 2025 and it will forever be a special year filled with hopes of a future we can share together. On May 17th,2025 we went on a hike of which Victoria thought was just another celebration for a year well spent together.It was the same hike we went on on our first date as a couple. We climbed the to the top and had a nice lunch with a beautiful veiw of the lake. When the perfect moment came, Jerry proposed !<3 and of course she said YES! We are so blessed and so greatful for the life we share together and now get to keep sharing!
