Hello, I am Gabi's thirteen year old sister, Gracia. I have seen Gabi and Ale's relationship grow over the years. From walking hand in hand to taking naps together. I've been with them every step of the way in their relationship, whether they wanted me to be or not (haha!) I wish you two the best and I look forward to continue being a part of your lives. Now, time to practice some awesome dance moves for the best wedding ever!

I don't remember the day I met Gabi, and I can't remember the day she grew on me so much that we officially became soul sisters. Although I do remember one day we were at a lake with friends. One of our friends had particularly big shorts, so big that both of us could easily fit into one of the legs. So we did what any normal, sane person would do: Gabi got into one leg, and I got in the other, and boy did we have a laugh! I am the luckiest girl to have such a friend by my side and even more so to be able to witness one of the most special, happiest moments of her life. May God forever bless Gabi and Alejandro's marriage as they have blessed Abdiel's and my marriage with their friendship.

I met Gabi on the same day I met my husband at the 2014 World Cup Final. Though, Alejandro only introduced her as a friend at the time, my instincts told me it was so much more and I already had a good feeling about her. Years later, we've bonded over group outings, one but memorable painting session, and a shared love of food. From the way they spoke about each other when one wasn't present to the way they conveyed their love through simple gestures like an arm around the shoulder or a special smile, I knew these two were meant to be together and I'm honored to witness their big day together.

"My favorite memory with Ale: praying for me at campamento (youth camp) during the fogata in 2015. It was a huge encouragement on my walk with God."

When Gabi and I first met, I had just transferred from one school to another--both extremely white and uncomfortably bougie-when I saw one of the few people of color in our PE class. She seemed friendly and was also brown, so naturally, I sat next to her-unknowingly sitting next to the person who would later become my best friend. What did we talk about in our first PE class together, you ask? Politics. I think we were bashing governments. I don't know. A few months in, having lunch together in our dreaded cafeteria became the new normal and something I looked forward to every day, because it was Gabi. Ten years of knowing each other, Gabi. I couldn't have asked for a better person to spend those ten years with. I'm looking forward to celebrating life with you for years to come.

“There are too many good memories of our friendship. One that has come up recently, however, is the one time Evie and I went to eat at Busboys and Poets with you and Gabby. It was so awesome to see you guys happy together (and happily sharing a plate). We knew something was up when you both decided to share a plate :) Thank you for always making people feel like they belong, brother.”

Jessica Caballero

Bridesmaid

I met both of you guys when you were single and serving God. Alejandro was always serving in the games with comisión and making sure our fogatas were lit 🔥(literally). Gabi, I remember you performing one summer at camp the song by Lifehouse called Everything. I had never seen the performance before not even on YouTube and all I can remember feeling were goose bumps by how amazing you interpreted that number. It blew me away!!! Spiritually I felt closer to God! It was so good, I still remember it to this day. It’s no secret that you guys are meant to be together. I have watched you guys go through highs and lows and yet the LORD sustains you. God brought you guys together and I’m honored to have been a witness of it! Cheers!
