The Children's Museum of Indianapolis
Fun for kids all ages (including those who are kids at heart)! Go learn about and maybe see some dinosaurs and other interesting things. The link below has events for the whole weekend starting on Friday, November 8th.
Soldiers & Sailors Monument and Monumental Marathon
Check out Indy's downtown with plenty of local restaurants nearby. You can see it turn into the world's tallest Christmas tree if you stay for a few more weeks. We were lucky enough that the Monumental Marathon is the same day as our wedding! Registration is linked below, but we don't exactly recommend running a marathon the morning of the wedding.
Eagle Creek Park
A beautiful park with ample fishing and hiking opportunities. Definitely depends on the weather. Did we mention it's right next to the Colts' training facilities?
Fort Harrison State Park
Another nice park with plenty of hiking and woods.
Broad Ripple Village
Diverse street life, quaint boutiques, and hot nightlife are set to the backdrop of public art, graffiti murals, and beautiful greenways and parks. Unique art galleries, sidewalk cafes, and fabulous restaurants complete the Village.
