FAQsFAQs

If you have any questions other than what's listed here, feel free to reach out to one of us in a message!
Question

RSVP?RSVP?

Answer

Please use the RSVP function at the bottom of the online invite, and if you include all of your guests/family unit (i.e children) that would be great. Just send us a message if anything changes 😊.

Question

Arrival Time?Arrival Time?

Answer

We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early so you have time to find a parking space, say hello, and be ready for the ceremony.

Question

Parking?Parking?

Answer

There are public car parks near the ceremony location, but if they’re full, you may need to find street parking nearby. There’ll also be parking available at the reception venue — generously offered by the Whittle household!

Question

Dress Code?Dress Code?

Answer

Smart Casual. Think: nice trousers, skirts, dresses, collared shirts—whatever makes you feel comfortable and a little dressed up! No need for ties or ball gowns, but maybe leave the gym gear at home 😉 Please note: The ceremony will be on the beach, so wear shoes you can comfortably walk in the sand with—sandals or even thongs (flip-flops) are totally fine! We’re aiming for relaxed and celebratory—feel good, look good, and be ready to dance!

Question

Plus-ones?Plus-ones?

Answer

We have included everyone’s partners in the invite/group chats, so if you see their name there — they’re invited! 🥰 If things change or you’re unsure, just reach out and ask — we’re keeping it intimate, but we’ll do our best to make it work.

Question

Kids?Kids?

Answer

Yes! We’d love for your little ones to come and celebrate with us. They are welcome at the ceremony and reception. We’ve included them in the numbers by default, but please make sure to RSVP for them so we can get a final headcount.

Question

Vibes?Vibes?

Answer

Think laid-back and full of love. It’s a low-key celebration with good food, good music, and lots of joy.

Question

Food Situation?Food Situation?

Answer

Light lunch after the ceremony (platters & finger food), and then a big roast pig dinner in the evening—served with fluffy bread rolls and tasty sides. All casual, help-yourself style! (And no seafood—Tom insists 😅)

Question

Drinks Situation?Drinks Situation?

Answer

We are also planning to provide drinks with various hard and soft (sugar & non-sugar) drinks available for everyone. If you have a favourite tipple however, you are welcome to bring it - and we won't even charge corkage!

Question

Food allergy / dietary requirements?Food allergy / dietary requirements?

Answer

Let us know ahead of time and we’ll do our best to make sure there’s something for you.

Question

Dancing?Dancing?

Answer

Absolutely 💃🕺 Come ready to move!

Question

Gifts?Gifts?

Answer

Your presence is honestly the greatest gift we could ask for 💛 But if you’d like to contribute something, we’re saving for our honeymoon and would so appreciate a little help towards that adventure.

Question

End Time?End Time?

Answer

We’re planning to have dinner around 7ish, so if you need to head off early, things should start winding down after dinner. But if you’re up for a boogie, drinks and late-night chats, feel free to stay and celebrate into the night! Just note that we’ll likely head off before midnight (before we turn into pumpkins 🎃).
