Avid gamer, doodler, and a beginner hiker. Loves nature but hates bugs. Once wished to be the head of environment of some sort in the government to eradicate all bugs. Was born in Virginia, lived in Portland, Seattle, Seoul, OC, LA and now lives in Bellevue, WA. Loves evergreen trees too much that she tattooed it on her back. Favorite show is Rick and Morty and The Office. Favorite movie is The Pianist but doesn't appreciate Roman Polanski's pervertedness. Favorite food is fish (grilled, fried, sushi-ed). Was either a moth in the past life cuhs she is drawn to lights OR orca as she loves all seafood.

Jeff is an avid gamer, adventurer and nerd. All his life he has felt like he was trying to play catch up with the rest of the world. For many years had a chip on his shoulder and never felt good enough but since the day Agnes came into his life things have been different. Nowadays he finally feels like he is becoming a well rounded man with an amazing family and future. Favorites...well favorite food used to be sushi but now Korean food holds a special place, favorite show is still Futurama but recently Rick and Morty has come in for a close second. Favorite game of all time is still Witcher 3 and favorite sports team is still the NY Rangers but as of recently Seattle Seahawks too.

Mother of the Bride
Mother of one (but enough!). Angie Hong (홍윤숙) grew up in Korea and had Agnes when she is in living in Virginia. She is well versed in art history and leadership. She currently lives in Seoul, Korea. Please say hello to her when you see her at the wedding!
Kurt (Kyung) Kim
Father of the Bride
Kurt(김경섭) is Agnes' dad who lives in Northern California. He is an enthusiast for Tennis and a genius for math. He went to American University for his masters and Portland State University for his PhD. Say hello to him when you see him at the wedding!
Carol Persek
Mother of the Groom
Carol is Jeff's mom who lives in Brevard NC. She is an avid gardener and loves reading, loves living in a small town where she can see her close friends easily and doesn't have the worries of big city life. She has always been an amazing and supporting mother to Jeffrey and has loved Aggy since the day they met.
John Douglas Persek
Father of the Groom
Doug is Jeff's dad who lives in Brevard NC. He loves mountain biking, hiking and anything adventurous. He also loves crafts and woodworking, if you get a chance ask him about his whale carvings! Doug is an amazingly supportive father, always showing love and setting an amazing example...even though he is a man for few words.

Maid of Honor
We met at Sony Pictures Entertainment while we were going through the ups and downs of working at a movie studio. We worked out together making weird racist noises, we gobbled up a lot of french fries, we took way too many shots and drank way too much wine, and most importantly she made the best mapo tofu for me. Our dogs that are two months apart play with infinite amounts of energy together. We even graduated from Sony Pictures together and told our boss we are quitting in the same room. She is like a sister I never had and I am so happy that she is my maid of honor.

Merren and I met through Jeff. They were San Diego friends back when Jeff lived down there. The easiest way to describe Merren is a feisty queen who actually has a big and warm heart. She also has a bet with me that I will have kids. I forget what we were betting, but I know she is going to be the best auntie (as she is already Rudy’s favorite auntie).

Our friendship started at SXSW (how cool is that?) but specifically, in the airplane to Austin when I saw a pretty blonde girl and I asked “Are you Veronica?” and she said “uh…yes?” We shared a lot of wine and steak bites together at SXSW. This random abrupt meet up started our friendship as we quickly realized we are both ambitious, beautiful (inside and out) and caring people. I also know she is a woman of her words which I appreciate a bunch <3
Nozomi Okabe

We met working at Sony Pictures Entertainment. Nozomi and I were in the same team and we cried and laughed together throughout our tenure at SPE. She is a grazer, and has an impressive RBF but not as bad as mine. I still remember her saying “you are constantly eating” when she was passing by my office I shared with Stokes. Formed by strong desire to constantly eat, we still explore eateries and life together.
Kierstin Hong

We met in Kamiak high school back in Mukilteo, WA. We were in the same art classes and often skipped classes together. Kierstin’s been my pseudo mom while we were living close to each other by providing ample amount of emotional support, food and gossip topics. Now she lives in NYC working as a fashion designer. She promised me she will make me custom designed clothes one day when she opens up her own brand.
Hyunju Jeong

Hyunjoo is my middle school friend from Korea (15 years ago). I honestly don’t know how she dealt with me back then (or now). I was a loud, obnoxious, mean and weird person and she somehow got trapped and ended up hanging out with me. Even to this day, we talk almost every day. Every time I go to Korea I see her 80% of the time I am there. (as much as I see my mom). Even though we live thousands of miles away, we still laugh, swear, and judge others together.
Nick Casamassa
Best Man
I met nick during the NHL playoffs where the LA Kings were playing the NY Rangers…paying off the refs to win none the less. I was sitting with Mark, A Kings fan at True North Sports Bar in San Diego. A guy walks in the front door rocking a Rangers jersey and I need back up, I gesture over to him to join us and we all start talking. 5 years later he is my best man at my wedding and an amazing friend.

I met Kevin while he was working at Urban Body fitness in North Park San Diego, he was the goofy and genuinely nice trainer who knew how to make everyone feel at home in the gym and was always fun to be around. After a few weeks there Kevin and I were friends, not only is he a good guy but he is the only man I have ever seen pick up a woman dressed in old gym cloths at a bar with the pickup line “Hi…I’m tall”.

ahhhh ihor, I met this kid when I started working at Sony Pictures. Ihor sat in the cubicle across the hall from me and he was always nice. Ihor is always willing to get into adventures and activities, he has been there for me through thick and thin, and later he has been a great friend to Agnes too

I met this Jim when I joined a kickball league with my buddy Nico, Jim is a genuine guy who always makes the effort to be there for his friends. Jim was always competitive but I really got know him after the kickball league ended and we all started hanging on the regular in a huge group.

I met Jim in High School and he has been one for my best friends since. I met him just after moving from NY to NC and I am so glad to have him as part of my life. Jim is a goofy guy who loves cheesy movies and has a laugh that can fill a room with happiness
