Each night around sunset (get there approximately 30 minutes before scheduled sunset) the Austin Bats emerge from under the bridge to blanket the sky as they head out to forage for food. This nightly event is considered the most spectacular and unusual tourist attraction in Austin Texas

Go Two-Stepping At The Broken Spoke
The Broken Spoke is a traditional country music dance hall that's been open since 1964. It's located on South Lamar Boulevard in Austin. (We recommend to go watch people two-step. This is where you will see real cowboy hats, boots and belt buckles, they're not costumes)
