We first met in 2019 at the FlowRider at Rapids Water Park. Funny enough, Taylor actually met Eli’s dad first—and he was the one who introduced us! After talking for a short time, we realized that we went to the same school and were even booked on the same Thanksgiving cruise that year! After that brief conversation at Rapids, we started spending more and more time together. It wasn’t long before we became best friends. As young teens, we were nervous about the idea of dating—we didn’t want to risk the friendship that we had built. What we had was truly a blessing and a gift from God. With time and prayer, we felt it was right to take that step and enter into a relationship, doing our best to keep God at the center. From meeting at 14 and 16 years old to now, we’re beyond excited to step into this new season and covenant together. Each of you has played a part in our journey and helped shape us into who we are today. We feel so grateful to have you with us on our special day!
