Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is pretty standard - semi-formal/cocktail attire. Although, our wedding reception is going to be in a Royal Palace, so if you want to change into something super fancy after the church wedding, feel free to do that!

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The weather is usually pretty nice in Hungary in June (about 70-80F) – hopefully it’s not going to rain, fingers crossed! -, but it can cool down after sunset, so it’s smart to have a jacket with you, just in case.

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The exact locations can be found here: www.zola.com/wedding/agiandmatt/event

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and the dinner is going to be indoors, however, if the weather is nice, we will move the party outside after the dinner to the castle courtyard.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Yes! There are free parking options available at both the church wedding and the reception venue.

Question

Will transportation be provided to the ceremony and/or reception?

Answer

There will be a free bus available for our guests from the church (in Kecskemét) to the wedding reception venue (in Gödöllő). After the party the bus will make a stop in Budapest and Kecskemét, so you don’t need to drive back if you don’t want to. IMPORTANT! In Hungary, it is absolutely forbidden to drive any type of motor vehicle after having consumed alcoholic drinks. They take this “zero tolerance” policy very seriously!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We have a couple of suggestions on where to stay here: www.zola.com/wedding/agiandmatt/travel

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes, open bar and a four-course meal, with great selection of Hungarian food and drinks!

Question

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Our caterer do have special options, so please contact us at least 3 weeks before the wedding if you have any dietary restrictions!

Question

What time is the reception scheduled to end?

Answer

The reception is scheduled to end at 1 am on the 15th June (Monday).

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer
