What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding's vibe is garden cocktail party; think florals, linens, and creative silhouettes. Our outdoor ceremony is taking place in mid-August, so dress light and wear sunglasses, a Kentucky Derby hat, or a Kate-Middleton-style-fascinator. Flats and wedges will prevent you from sinking into the lawn, so consider your footwear--we know you'll just ditch the heels once the dancing starts anyway.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:30pm. We recommend arriving by 4:00pm to ensure that you have time to walk from the parking lot to the ceremony space and mingle.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

The main entrance to Woodberry Forest School is located on Route 15 across from Tanners Road-- look for the green and silver balloons!. Once you check in at the guard house (tell them you are here for the Hogan-Davis wedding), follow the signs to the parking area. The wedding party will be stationed around campus to help give directions.

Where do I park?

Answer

There will be signs directing guests to approved parking spots near the reception venue. Guests will need to walk about a quarter mile from the reception venue to the ceremony venue. Please contact Andy or AG if you need to park closer to the ceremony venue and drive to the reception venue.

Are my kids invited?

Answer

Although we love your children, due to budget constraints and venue concerns, our wedding will be a 21+ only event.

Can I take pictures of the wedding for social media?

Answer

We have hired a great wedding photographer, Robert Radifera, to capture the ceremony so that you can be unplugged and fully present. Please keep phones and cameras tucked away until the reception. (Remember, AG is a teacher and has no qualms about confiscating phones.) After the ceremony, you're invited to post as many photos as you like. Our wedding hashtags are #agandandygetmarried #andyandannagreysbigday

What should I do if I can’t make it after responding yes?

Answer

We will miss you! Please let AG or Andy know as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly.

What should I do if I have scheduling conflicts for part of the festivities but still want to attend part of the day?

Answer

If you can only make it during certain hours, we would still absolutely love to have you attend our wedding! We politely ask that you let either AG or Andy know as soon as possible about your scheduling conflicts so that we can update our vendors accordingly.
