A mutual friend of ours invited us both to watch a football game. We all had a good time, and the two of us even went to get a drink together after everyone else had gone home...but we were both just interested in having a good time with a new friend. Boy, did we laugh! A few months passed, and that same friend (thanks, Drew!) got us all together again for a birthday. We spent most of the night just talking with each other and made loose plans to hang out again. The next weekend we had plans to meet up, and I asked Brian if he wanted to go on a walk in the greenbelt with me and Moxie -- it was raining and about 9 a.m. so I was pretty sure he was going to decline. Nope! He was actually excited! So, we met at Bull Creek and the walk turned into lunch, lunch turned into drinks, drinks turned into dinner, dinner turned into dancing...and we've been together every day since.
