Emily, from Indianapolis, Indiana and Michael, from Accra, Ghana, both arrived in Pittsburgh within a year of each other. They first met in the fall of 2023 at a local coffee shop and gradually bonded over shared interests, faith, and aspirations. Their initial connection deepened over time as they discovered mutual admiration and shared values that transcended cultural differences and traditions. God was up to something! By 2024, their relationship grew more intentional. They explored the city together, nurtured a shared Christian community, and supported each other's goals. Their shared faith, cultural curiosity, and commitment to personal growth brought them closer, paving the way for a future together. With the foundations of friendship, partnership, and trust in God, they embarked on a journey filled with hope and the prospect of lifelong commitment. Their union is a testament of trusting God with the process in finding one another and in allowing God to knit their hearts together in preparation for lifelong loving commitment and partnership for His Glory.
