We had a wonderful time riding horses on a trail leading to the beach from this beautiful farm right in Saint Helena Island where the reception will be held. We encourage to contact the farm and book a horseback ride while in Beaufort.

Beaufort's annual water festival will be in full swing on our wedding weekend at the waterfront in downtown Beaufort. Check out the Festival's web site above for a schedule of events. The first such festival was held in 1956.
Only 5 miles from Beaufort, the quaint town of Port Royal boast a rookery where guests can view alligators, egrets, pelicans, herons, turtles and a plethora of other wildlife in a natural habitat from the comfort of a safe and sturdy boardwalk.
As soon as you step through the gate of these ruins, you will be transported back hundreds of year ago, imagining parishioners congregating in the one room church to pray or perhaps discuss current affairs. The historic ruins date back to 1745. Check out the web site for more information.
