Red Rock Canyon is located 17 miles (27 km) west of the Las Vegas Strip on Charleston Boulevard/State Route 159. Red Rock Canyon features a one-way 13-mile scenic drive, hiking and trails, plants and wildlife, geology, camping, cultural resources and much more.

Spring Mountain Ranch State Park

Sprawling and splendid, Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is adjacent to the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and has been used historically as a working ranch and a luxury retreat by a string of colorful owners, including German actress Vera Krupp and millionaire Howard Hughes. Today visitors can explore some of the oldest buildings in Nevada, a 1860s blacksmith shop, the Sandstone Cabin that was home to the founding family and the ranch house. Hiking trails throughout the park, in addition to tree-shaded picnic sites with tables and grills, make day trips to the park a family favorite.

Pinball Hall of Fame

The Pinball Hall of Fame? What exactly is that? Or more importantly, why is there a Pinball Hall of Fame? The Pinball Hall of Fame is an attempt by the members of the Las Vegas Pinball Collectors Club to house and display the world's largest pinball collection, open to the public. A not-for-profit corporation was established to further this cause. Games range from 1950s up to 1990s pinball machines.

The Neon Museum Las Vegas

The Neon Museum was established as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in 1996 to collect and exhibit neon signs, the art form synonymous with Las Vegas. Dedicated individuals from the private sector and corporate and government entities worked collaboratively to promote the preservation of these national treasures as significant pieces of artistic and historical importance. Each of the more than 250 signs in The Neon Museum’s collection offers a unique story about the personalities who created it, what inspired it, where and when it was made and the role it played in Las Vegas’ distinctive history.
