Cadillac Lodge

If you embrace the holiday season as much as we do, check out the Cadillac Lodge in Winter Market, "The coziest spot in downtown Detroit." Wed/Thur/Sun 11am-8pm. Fri-Sat 11am-11pm.

Campus Martius Park

Ice skating, shopping, and meandering at the heart of the city. Close to hotels, restaurants, and the riverwalk, you can also take the trolley from here to the DIA.

Catch a game or a show

The Lions have a home game on Sunday. Red Wings & Pistons are out of town. For our fellow NPR Fans, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me will be at the Fox Theatre on Thursday night!

Fancy pastries and solid coffee. Trevor's mom gets credit for discovering and showing us the place, but it is now Aelish's favorite place to stop by when visiting the wedding venue (or any time). It is a very brief walk from the hotel! Perfect for morning coffees and croissants if that is your thing.
