Things To Do

Although neither of us are natives, we have called Arizona home the last 5 years! We both moved to attend school at ASU. After graduating, we decided to stay in the desert. Because we have lived in AZ for some time, we have curated a list of some of our favorite things, as one does. The said list is below!

Hive Fit Club

8275 North Pima Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85258

This is our gym!! We love it so much, it's the only gym Kenadi hasn't gotten sick of after 6 months! You can get a day pass for $50. They are famous for their "Return to the Garden of Eden" theme, life-size turf-wrapped lion statues (yes, plural), and hot pink everything!

Black Rock Coffee Bar

8670 East Thomas Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85251

This is where we get coffee almost every day, even though we have an espresso machine and cold brew at home. Yikes. Whatever, its too good.

Chaparral Park

5401 Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85250

This is where we walk the Big Man (Banx)! It's such a perfect trail for a nice walk or jog to enjoy the gorgeous April Arizona weather.

Old Town Scottsdale

Scottsdale, AZ 85251

Duh! I mean, if you traveled to Arizona and didn't go to Old Town, you did it wrong. There are countless things to do in OT. From family-friendly art exhibits and museums to clubs and bars galore. You can shop till you drop. And also drink till you drop (not recommended). There are a hundred restaurants. We recommend Diego Pop's, Elephanté, Postino, Zinqué, Toca Madera, and, if you're feeling really crazy, our very favorite, Maple & Ash.

Camelback Mountain

Phoenix, AZ 85018

The infamous Camelback Mountain. All we will say is, at your own discretion. The Wesselink Wedding is not responsible for physical injuries sustained during The Wedding Trip.

ASU - Tempe Campus

1151 South Forest Avenue, Tempe, AZ 85287

Aww, our Alma Mater! Where we used to walk to class together and skip class to tan at the pool because it's really Spring Break University. We both loved ASU. Aedon graduated with a degree in Political Science. Kenadi graduated with a degree in Sports Business. Are either of them using their degrees? Of course not! But at least they got the college experience, riiiight??
