We met our freshman year at IWU in our first-year experience class, new testament. We quickly became friends and spent our first semester as college students getting to know each other, figuring out campus life and all the changes that come with that new season of life. After returning back to campus for our second semester, we started dating and have been growing with one another ever since!

After scheduling a date to look at wedding venues, the day finally came. We had two tours booked for the day and we left the first one feeling disappointed. Not wanting to get our hopes up we headed to the second tour. We immediately fell in love with it before we even got the official tour, and were even more convinced that it was the place we wanted to say 'I do' at after exploring more of the property. We took some pictures together, and that's when Aeden got down on one knee and proposed!!! I think it's so special that we got engaged and start our forever in one special spot.
