We met about 13ish years ago while working at Great American Ball Park as level leaders together. We discovered we both went to University of Cincinnati and remained friends even after Renaldo left the stadium. We kept in touch and hung out every now and then but were always in different places in our lives. We finally decided to have dinner one night in September 2016 (when we were both single at the same time!) to catch up and the rest is history, we have been together ever since!!

Renaldo and I were going to a UC Men's basketball game, my first one ever, even though I had gone to UC! We went to Keystone Bar and Grill for some drinks beforehand and then walked to the arena. We were talking about the bearcat statue outside the arena as we had taken some hilarious pictures there when we went to UC's Homecoming together. We decided to take a picture in front of the statue and then Renaldo asked me to take his picture. I turned to walk away so I could get the statue in the picture and when I turned around he was down on one knee with the ring in hand (well almost....he had some trouble getting it out of the bag haha). I was in shock and still took his picture which is one of my favorites now!! Of course I said yes and he started screaming "She said YES!!" As I turned to my right I see someone taking our pictures and couldn't help but think "Who is this random person taking our picture??" Turns out it was my best friend Melessa and my sister, Maggie was close behind her! Renaldo had planned for them to be there to capture our big moment! We celebrated and then went to the UC game where I didn't see much as I was so excited to know I was going to be marrying this amazing man that was sitting next to me!!
