What is the dress code?

For the big day we ask that you please avoid white, cream, and beige and aim for patterns on your clothes as the bridesmaids will be wearing bright, solid colors. All wedding events with the exception of the pool party will be takin place indoors or on solid ground (non-sand). How long is the drive from the airport to the hotel?

Answer

About 40 minutes.

What is there to do around the resort?

Answer

The resort has easy access to the beach and pier. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and nightlife establishments within walking distance. The ferry to Cancun and Cozumel are also about a 15 minute walk away.

What will the weather be like during the wedding week?

Answer

The weather is projected to be highs around 78 degrees and lows around 70 degrees.

Will the wedding be on the beach?

Answer

No, the ceremony will take place at the Gazebo connected to the resort over looking the beach. The cocktail hour and reception will take place in the ballroom inside the resort. You will always be on solid ground with the exception of the wedding party and some family who will take photos with us on the sand.

Are videos and photos with personal phones permitted during the wedding?

Answer

We ask that you please put your phones on Do Not Disturb during the ceremony and put them away. We have someone taking photos and we would love you to be fully present with us! Feel free to become a photographer or director during the reception.
