Anna and Jim met in 2015 via text through a friend. Because they have busy schedules, they weren’t able to meet up but texted non stop for a month. On their first date in DC, in a twist of fate, Anna was the one who was 25 minutes late, while Jim was on time (Shocking)!! They hit it off like wild fire! After dating 6 months, Jim asked Anna to go on an overnight trip to snowboard at Snowshoe Mtn. Upon arrival, Anna asked Jim to help unload the car. After 4 trips upstairs and the question “what are you packing, BRICKS?!”, Anna unloaded a full set of pans, dishes, & utensils…basically everything but the kitchen sink. Jim was just happy he found a nice girl that could snowboard (and put up with his antics). After a great time, the trips got even better! They traveled the coast, from PA to VT and even crossed the boarder into Montreal, Canada. Their happiness and love grew, and they became inseparable! Jim and Anna would often eat dinner at a Pho restaurant in DC. The problem is, every time they would eat there, Jim would bring up moving to Colorado, and Anna would get anxious. Over a bowl of Pho, Jim asked Anna to move to Colorado with him…. in 2 weeks! Anna said she would love to go! They’ve been living in Colorado now for 2 years and they’ve loved every minute. Jim bought a 4Runner and their never ending adventures in the mountains keep on coming. They’ve traveled to Europe and Hawaii, hiked many 14ers and ripped on the mountains all over the Rockies. On August 24th, 2019, Jim told Anna that he wanted to take a trip to the summit of Mount McClellan. They saw a family of goats, admired the range far and wide and then decided it was time to take a picture before heading back down. Jim asked Anna to meet him on the peak and started to tell her how much he loved their lives and how he knew she was the one. Anna of course had to ask “WHAT’RE YOU GONNA DO, PROPOSE??” and slowly Jim got down on one knee to pop the question! This is just the beginning of their story…
