Why do the invitations say Hilton La Romana, but the resort is now called Dreams La Romana?

Answer

The resort recently changed ownership and is now called Dreams La Romana, Spa & Resort. While our invitations and save the dates mention Hilton La Romana, the location, staff, and all of the beautiful amenities remain the same, only the name has changed. All wedding events will still take place at the same resort!

Where can I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP on the RSVP tab of our website to let us know you’re coming. Don’t forget to also begin your booking on the Travel & Resort page to secure your spot. We’re so excited to celebrate with you!

Do I have to stay at the resort?

Answer

For guests traveling from outside the Dominican Republic, staying at the resort is required to ensure a smooth and enjoyable celebration for everyone. Please visit the "Travel & Resort" page on our website for room details and reservation information. Thank you!

Can I book my room directly on the resort's website?

Answer

We ask that you please book your room only through the link provided on the "Travel & Resort" tab of our website or directly with our travel specialist, Lina Contreras. This ensures that all arrangements are properly coordinated for our celebration. Thank you!

When is the final payment due for the room booking?

Answer

For guests *without* the Travel Protection Plan, the final payment is due by May 28, 2026. For guests *with* the Travel Protection Plan, a minimum payment of half of the reservation total is required by May 28, 2026 and the remaining balance is due August 31, 2026. If the payment isn’t received by the above date, the room hold will be released. While we’ll miss celebrating with you at the wedding, we look forward to finding another time to celebrate together!

Should I get the Travel Protection Plan?

Answer

We highly encourage all guests to purchase the Travel Protection Plan. Please note that the Travel Protection Plan may not be added after the reservation has been confirmed.

Can I pay as I go?

Answer

Yes! You’re welcome to pay as you go, as long as the full payment is completed by May 28, 2026 (without the Travel Protection Plan) or August 31, 2026 (with the Travel Protection Plan).

We’re so excited to celebrate with each of you! Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate guests listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Are children welcome at the wedding?

We’re delighted to celebrate with all of you, and while we love your little ones, we can only accommodate the children specifically listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Where will the ceremony & reception be located?

Both the ceremony & the reception will happen at the resort: Dreams La Romana, Spa & Resort.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors, allowing us to celebrate surrounded by beautiful scenery.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our celebration is formal attire, and we can’t wait to see everyone looking their best! We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing red, white, cream, or any colors that could be mistaken for white. Thank you for helping us make the day even more special!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you join us in having an unplugged ceremony—absolutely no phones or cameras, please. We want everyone to be fully present in the moment! Rest assured, we’ll have professional photographers and videographers capturing every memory, so you can relax and enjoy the celebration with us.

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for! We truly don’t need anything more. However, if you would like to contribute, we have a baby fund to support our journey with reciprocal IVF. You can contribute to the baby fund by clicking the "registry" tab on our wedding website. Your love and support mean the world to us!
