The Wedding Website of Adrienne Oglesby and Justin Jacobson
Get to know the amazing family and friends who’ll be strutting down the aisle by our side! They’ve been with us through every step of our journey, and now they’re here to help us take the biggest one yet.

Ms. Adrienne Oglesby

Bride

As said by the groom, you know you love someone when you’re willing to step outside of your comfort zone to support their dreams and goals. Anyone who knows me knows that I always said I’d never leave North Dakota. I had a great career, great friends, owned my home, and my family was close by. But when it came time to decide whether to move, it wasn’t just about what was best for me anymore—it was about what was best for all of us. As I’ve said before, Adrienne is probably the only person on Earth for whom I would have ever considered moving out of state. Now, after nearly 8 months in Ohio, I wouldn’t change a thing. I still feel love every day, and I receive compassion, gratitude, and companionship that make every decision I made worth it—times ten.

Mr. Justin Jacobson

Groom

For Adrienne, finding Justin felt like discovering a piece of herself she never knew was missing. After stepping out of her comfort zone and following a new path guided by faith, she met Justin—who seemed to have been waiting just for her. It was as if he was crafted by God with her heart in mind, bringing healing, love, and care when she needed it most. Reflecting on their journey, Adrienne believes that everything she experienced before meeting him had a purpose, leading her to this beautiful moment. “Nothing good comes easy, and Justin is all that is good,” she says with certainty. As she prepares to take on his last name, Adrienne is excited to build a future together, one that will last for generations to come.

Miss. Zoe Wilson

Jr. Bridesmaid

Zoe, the bride’s beloved junior bridesmaid, has held a special place in her heart ever since a playful mishap in her early years. “Yes, I dropped you on the head when you were a baby, but I’ve sworn ever since to always protect you,” the bride lovingly recalls. With a bond that feels like mother and daughter, she cherishes Zoe’s bright spirit and sees a big future ahead for her. The bride is excited to share the special day with this shining light by her side.

Mr. Rhett Jacobson

Jr. Groomsman

The groom’s godson and son of groomsman Shaun and his wife Amanda, brings a special charm to the wedding party. Known for his warm heart and friendly nature, Rhett has always shown kindness—especially when playing with Duncan, the groom’s son. His gentle spirit and loveable personality make him the ideal choice for the role of junior groomsman, adding a touch of youthful joy to the celebration.

Mr. Julian Jacobson

Best Man

Julian, the best man, has known the groom for as long as he can remember, with their bond rooted in a lifetime of friendly competition. From who was faster or cooler as kids to who has the better college and work stories, the rivalry never stops. Yet, through all the challenges and banter, one thing remains certain: the groom will always claim the title of “the best twin.”

Ms. Courtney Jackson

Maid of Honor

Courtney, one of the bride’s dearest friends, her title reflects not only that but, the wisdom, life lessons, and Godly grace she brings to every moment. As the godmother to the bride’s son and a constant source of support, Courtney’s impact on the bride’s life is profound. “She’s taught me so much and has never left me hanging,” shares the bride, grateful to have her by her side on the big day.

Mr. Zach Jacobson

Groomsman

The groom’s older brother, has always embraced the role of the classic big brother. From teasing and roughhousing with his younger brothers to constantly reminding them of his taller stature, he made sure they never forgot who was in charge. Though he’s mellowed over the years and become easier to get along with, Zach is quick to remind everyone that he’s “never been accused of being nice.”

Ms. Shay Watson

Matron of Honor with Grace

Shay, the bride’s soul sister and Soror, has been a constant source of strength and support through every season of life. From witnessing each other’s growth to standing together through life’s toughest moments, their bond has only deepened. “She saw me at my worst and held me down until I became my best,” the bride shares. Now, she’s thrilled to celebrate this new chapter alongside Shay, who is also thriving in a Christ-centered relationship. Shay is on the road to marriage, say congratulations when you see her! <3 #CIC

Mr. Shaun Jacobson

Groomsman

The eldest of the Jacobson siblings, has always led the way—being the first to get married, have kids, and build a home. But his most famous achievement? Being the first to catch a shark. Just ask him about it—especially in front of his wife, Amanda, who absolutely loves hearing that story again!

Ms. Sam Abernathy

Bridesmaid

Sam, one of the bride’s closest friends, has a bond with her that runs deep. “Just know, Sam gets like that for me, and I do the same for her,” the bride says, hinting at their unspoken connection. Described as her “ghetto girl,” Sam’s loyalty and spirit have made their friendship evolve in ways the bride never imagined, leaving her grateful for the journey they’ve shared together.

Mr. Beau Simon

Groomsman

One of the groom’s best friends from college, was a constant presence throughout their shared academic journey. From hanging outside Geography Methods to singing on bus rides from their Multicultural Education trips, Beau was there for every class and story—including the infamous two-day teach horror story. Though he nearly got the groom in trouble during Reading in the Content Area, their friendship only grew stronger. And as Beau knows, if he ever needs someone to deliver a 20+ minute speech, the groom is always up for the challenge.

Ms. Mariah Bryant

Bridesmaid

Mariah, a cherished friend and Soror, is known as the bride’s “twin” for all the best reasons. From partying and eating to praying and glowing together, they share a special bond that goes beyond sisterhood. “You get me, and I get you—that’s all that matters,” the bride says, expressing her deep love and appreciation for Mariah’s friendship.

Mr. Michael Mcnelly

Groomsman

One of the groom’s best friends from college, is a character like no other. While they shared many classes in the same major, it’s McNelly’s quirks that truly set him apart—like sending Christmas cards featuring his gnomes, sporting an endless collection of crazy socks, and owning a staggering variety of specialty suits. He’s even made headlines for a wild story involving a cop’s dog and a questionable wardrobe choice. Just remember, it’s easy to stay on his good side—unless you mention “battle axe.”

Ms. Kaylin McGlothen

Bridesmaid

Kaylin, one of the bride’s closest friends, came into her life at just the right time. They met while out of their element but quickly made their new surroundings their own. “We shine together, as town girls do,” says the bride, grateful for Kaylin’s unwavering support. Described as her ride-or-die, Kaylin is always ready to stand by her side, and the bride couldn’t be more thankful.

Mr. Cameron Enderson

Groomsman

The groom’s oldest non-sibling friend, has been by his side since high school and became his roommate throughout much of college. Their bond is filled with countless stories, especially about their other roommates. While time may have caused others to drift apart, Cam and the groom can’t seem to shake each other, often likened to an old married couple by their college friends. Their enduring friendship is a testament to the memories they’ve created together.

Ms. Reagan Jackson

Bridesmaid

Reagan, the bride’s Soror and friend, has been a steadfast presence even before their sisterhood began. Known for her no-nonsense attitude, she’s taught the bride to stand tall and embrace her confidence. “You don’t play games, and you’ve helped me find my own strength,” the bride shares. She deeply admires Reagan and treasures the bond they share.

Mr.Luke Michaelson

Groomsman

One of the few people who commanded respect—even from incarcerated men. As the groom got to know Luke, he discovered a cool and funny friend who could lighten any situation. They played on the same dart league team, where Luke often found himself carrying the team (much to the groom’s embarrassment). When not playing darts, they enjoyed hanging out at each other’s homes, sipping beer, and discussing their beloved Vikings. In a move that may seem geeky, the duo even arranged for their video game characters in Elder Scrolls to marry for strategic purposes.

Mr. Duncan Amir

Ring Bearer

The bride and groom are overjoyed to provide little with endless love and support. Described as the cutest, smartest, and most curious little guy, Duncan is the shining star of their family. As they embark on this new chapter together, the couple sees their wedding as the beginning of their family empire, dedicated to their beloved son. “This day is for you, little man!” they say with love.
