South Congress District
Shop, eat and walk along South Congress. Some favorites are South Congress Cafe, Guero's Taco Bar, Homeslice, and Perla's. Be sure to stop by Allen's Boots and Uncommon Objects or swing by the Austin Motel for a drink at Joann's!
Lady Bird Lake Trail
Take in the views of downtown by kayaking, paddle boarding or going for a walk around Town Lake.
Lazarus Brewing Co.
Enjoy a cold brew + patio time at Lazarus Brewing Co.
Texas Capitol
Take a walk through the Capitol grounds and end up at Texas Chili Parlor
360 Bridge
If you want a gorgeous view of downtown and the scenic hills - hike to the top! To make your way to the 360 Overlook, head south on 360 Loop (Capital of Texas Highway) from 2222. After passing a neighborhood (W Courtyard Dr) and just before the huge bridge, you will see parking on the side of the road alongside a cliff to your right. Park there (even though it says no parking).
2nd Street District
Shop and eat along 2nd Street on the north side of Cesar Chavez. I recommend Jo's Coffee, North Italia, Taverna, and La Condesa.
El Arroyo
Visit the famous El Arroyo Marquee and grab & grab a taco!
