Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

There will be an engagement party celebrating our relationship and our future life together. However, due to the mayhem at the current moment we are not sure of when this will take lace, but it is happening. We promise! We hope for it to be at a speakeasy, keeping tru to the 1920s theme.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered at zola.com online only!! Originally we were registered with “The Knot” but when we discovered Zola.com, we dismissed “The Knot” to fulfill all of our wedding needs into one spot. So please ignore the registry on “The Knot.com” thank you!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, they are not. There are no staff members designated to supervise children. A responsible party must supervise any children present at all times; no unsupervised children are allowed inside the Castle or on the Castle grounds.

What is the Guest App and why am I being invited to it?

Answer

Getting married? Throwing a big event? Automatically get all of the photos and videos guests take at your wedding, reception or celebration with The Guest by The Knot! No uploading, no tagging, no separate camera apps. With The Guest (formerly known as Veri), all guests need is their normal iPhone camera to join in on the photo-sharing fun. Simply create an event, invite guests via phone number or email address, and The Guest does the rest— for free! As soon as an event begins, The Guest will start sharing photos and videos guests are taking with their iPhone cameras in real time as they take them. It is a free way to keep track of lots of little moments that might otherwise be lost.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking on location; both the ceremony and the reception are close together. However, there is no parking allowed in the drop-off area at The Castle's Grand Ballroom entrance or in the driveway. Handicapped parking is available, a handicap drop-off and special arrangements can be made for the ceremony. If buses or limousines are to be present, please notify us so that arrangements may be made.

When should I RSVP by?

August 3rd, 2020 or sooner if possible... If not, please correspond with the bride and groom. For instance, let’s say you can make it but your “plus one” is unsure, just communicate please with our Wedding Helper Monique.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please make the bride and groom aware of your dietary restrictions by message. We will do our best to accommodate by having options for you. Please note for us what is medical allergies or personal preference!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

The invitations include that information for each individual person because unfortunately, there is a limited amount of spots for the wedding; however, for the Engagement Party, yes please, do bring a guest. The more, the merrier!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is for 6:00pm; however, the location is quite a drive from New Orleans. Please be at least 15 minutes early, so everyone can be seated for the beginning of the wedding ceremony.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Due to the fact, that everyone may or may not be able to be accommodated at one location, no transportation is provided.
