What time should I arrive?

Answer

Anytime between 2:50-3:50! Ceremony starts at 4:00 so please be there before!

Where should I park?

Answer

There is a parking lot directly adjacent to the Van Dusen mansion that will be open all day!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is planned to be held outdoors in a courtyard (unless of rain). The rest of the day will be indoors!

What is the dress code?

We’d love to see everyone dressed in formal attire! Think suits, long dresses, and outfits you feel great dancing in.

Where can I stay the night?

There are several hotels conveniently located in downtown Minneapolis with a variety of price points. Many guests choose to stay at W Minneapolis – The Foshay, which is located near the venue. Some hotels may also offer shuttle services for wedding guests.

What’s the weather usually like this time of year?

Answer

Late May in Minneapolis is typically mild and beautiful, with daytime temperatures in the 70s and cooler evenings in the 50s. While the days are usually sunny and comfortable, we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap for the evening just in case!

Is the mansion wheelchair accessible?

Yes! There are ramps connecting spaces throughout the mansion. There is also an elevator on site.
