Where is the wedding located?
Answer
The wedding is at The Wilds Wedding and Event Venue, in Brown County IN. The address is: 6483 Kent Rd, Bloomington, IN 47401

Wait, isn't January 4th a Thursday?
Answer
Yes, you are looking at your calendar correctly! We wanted to have our vow renewal on our anniversary, which lands on a Thursday. This is partly why we sent out Save the Dates so far in advance, to allow our friends and family to make accommodations with their work schedules if necessary.

Is this an inside or outside location?
Answer
Bundle up, at this time we plan for our ceremony to be outside, with a reception following inside. There is a coat closet to keep your extra layers for the rest of the evening. We are working with the venue to rent outdoor heaters during the ceremony to assist in keeping our guests warm. Prior to the ceremony start, you are more than welcome to wait inside.

Will there be a bar?
Answer
Yes, there will be a cash bar! The bar will open at 4:30 p.m., so you can grab a drink right after the ceremony! Prices are: $5 for beer, $6-$7 for cocktails, and $8 for wine. Due to the secluded area of the venue, and it being a weekday, Ubers/Lyfts/etc aren’t usually available. We suggest all our guests who plan to drink set up a DD in advance! We want you all to have a fun and safe evening! Your personal vehicle may be left at the venue property overnight but must be picked up by 9 am the following morning.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
Answer
We encourage all our guests to dress weather appropriately for the outdoor ceremony. There will be a coat closet to use during the indoor reception. The dress code is Black Tie Optional.

Will the Ceremony and Reception both be taking place at the same location?
Answer
Yes, they will both be at The Wilds. The ceremony will be outside, and the reception will follow indoors.

Does your wedding have a theme?
Answer
No it does not. The "dress code" is simply Black Tie Optional.

Where should we park? Is parking free?
Answer
When you arrive at the address you will drive up a long driveway, straight into a parking lot. The parking lot is by the ceremony space. Handicap parking is available by the reception building.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Due to a limited guest capacity, please refer to your RSVP for the number of guests invited from your household. We did our best to accommodate as many children as possible. Just a friendly pre-disclosure that our reception will have a bar, and we are not playing PG music at the reception when the dance floor opens up. Make the choice that works best for you and your family; let us know if you will have an adult-only date or if your children will be present - they'll have a friend in Del and Rosie if so.

Are the ceremony and reception wheel-chair accessible?
Answer
Yes, there is handicap parking next to the reception building for you to use.
Question
Will transportation be provided to/from the venue?
Answer
There will not be transportation provided. Cars are welcome to stay at the venue overnight but must be picked up by 9 am the following morning. We suggest having a prearranged designated driver for those utilizing the cash bar.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Answer
Yes! We would love for as many pictures of the night to be captured. We do however ask that you keep your phones and cameras put away during the ceremony. We hired a very talented photographer and we promise to share those photos.
