Question

Will there be transportation to/from the venue?

Answer

Yes! We will be running shuttles between Meridian House and all three of our hotel blocks (The Dupont Circle Hotel, The Lyle and the St. Regis). More details on the shuttles will be provided closer to the wedding.

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

We recommend walking (if you're staying nearby) or taking an Uber, since parking spaces will be limited. If you are staying at any of our hotel blocks, we will be running shuttles to/from Meridian House throughout the evening. If you do drive, Meridian House's parking is located on Crescent Place on the right-hand side past White-Meyer House. Parking is free. Street parking — though limited — is also available on Belmont Street and Crescent Place.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, our wedding ceremony and reception dress code is black tie. For women, this means a floor-length dress or pantsuit, and for men, a tuxedo or dark-colored suit with a bow tie.

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, if you have any dietary restrictions, please indicate in your R.S.V.P. If you have further questions, please email our wedding planner at leigh@laurynprattes.com.

Can I bring a plus one or children?

Answer

Unfortunately, we can only accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. As much as we love your little ones, young children are not invited to the ceremony or reception.
