Haldi
Haldi (turmeric) is a sacred and purifying spice. During this ceremony, family and friends apply a bio turmeric paste to the couple’s face, arms, and feet to bless them before the wedding. Guests usually wear yellow, and by the end of the ceremony turmeric with flower is often playfully thrown.
Sakharpuda
The couple exchanges rings and formally commits to the marriage. It is also a special moment to take photos with the guests.
Sangeet
An evening celebration where guests perform choreographed dances to celebrate the upcoming wedding.

Baraat
The joyful parade as the groom arrives on horseback—with music, dance, and everyone are welcome to celebrate
Lagna Sohala
The main wedding ceremony where the couple is officially united.
Saptapadi
A Hindu ritual where the couple takes seven steps around the sacred fire (Agni), symbolizing seven vows: nourishment, strength, prosperity, happiness, family, health, and loyalty.
