Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

This is a very small event and a pretty small venue; we invited most couples/families as a unit. If your situation is different and you would like to bring a guest, reach out to us! We might have some wiggle room closer to the date, however, this is going to be an intimate affair and want to make sure we personally know all of our guests. Thanks for understanding!

Question

Is your wedding in a...coffee shop?

Answer

Yes! We are wanting an intimate evening with our closest friends and family, some tasty food, and a laid-back atmosphere where we happen to also get married. We already love Buunni Coffee and are excited to share this evening with them!

Question

I don't have a place to stay in NYC. Where do you suggest?

Answer

New York City has a plethora of hotel rooms, airbnbs, and other options. We've been assuming that most people will stay with friends or know the area well, but if you're not one of those, here's a few tips: - the ceremony is on the West Side of Manhattan, so if you're comfortable taking the subway, staying anywhere on the A or 1 lines should work well. Recommended neighborhoods: - Morningside Heights -- near Columbia University. - Upper West Side -- classic residential neighborhood featured in countless movies, home to Zabar's and Lincoln Center, next to Central Park. - Chelsea -- cute neighborhood with a historically artsy and gay population (although now more simply expensive). Home to Chelsea Market, the High Line, and good proximity to the Village. If your options look too expensive, if you want to be within walking distance of the venue, or if you need more guidance, please let us know! We'd be happy to do more research or talk over options with you.
