A Virtual Wedding

May 15, 2021

Caleb and Addie have decided to keep their ceremony small and intimate, with just their immediate family. They would love for you to watch their live-streamed wedding on Zoom on their special day from the comfort of your home. The Zoom link may be found by going to the menu bar on the top of this page (this may appear as three lines in the upper corner of your phone) and selecting the Virtual Wedding tab. The Zoom link will be open to join starting at 3:45PM PST. All guests will be muted upon log in, however please ensure your mic stays off. To view the ceramony in a large screen, in the upper righthand corner of your zoom screen, you may select "speaker view". The ceremony will begin at 4:00PM PST. Thank you and we look forward to sharing this special moment with you all. The passcode is samuel, all lower case:

When Caleb Met Addie...

Love on Aisle Seven

Back before the plague years, in the distant year of 2014, Addie and Caleb attended orientation on the same day for their new jobs at Whole Foods Market in Flagstaff. There were some introductions and group activities. Caleb remembers Addie being a very strong presence. Something about her stuck with him. They became friends while working in the grocery aisles and talked about politics and culture at length. They made each other laugh. Addie had never met someone more informed than her. Caleb had never met someone more ridiculous than him. Fast forward to January 2019. Caleb and Addie are the only two people who haven't bailed on plans to go see a co-worker's band. Addie asked Caleb if he was still going and he said, "I don't know. Maybe?" Caleb got to the coffee shop and looks around for Addie, for her golden hair, and he sees her. She had been searching the crowd for him as well. They laughed about how they're the only two who didn't bail. They ended up talking long after the show was over and haven't looked back since. Their passion for good conversation, great laughs, and euphoric food makes their love last every day. And now, thousands of miles later, from Wisconsin to Texas to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, they're ready to take on the biggest adventure of their lives.

The Proposal

"I do"

After receiving the approval of her parents, and Samuel, over the span of a few weeks, Caleb began acting suspicious by finding ways to get Addie's attention. He would drop down to one knee, only to ask her if she remembered the keys. He would grab her hand, look into her eyes, take a deep breath, and then comment on the weather. He found ways to tease her daily of the possibility that "the question" would be asked soon enough. One evening after their run, Caleb asked Addie to come into Samuel's room and grab something off of his desk. She looked at the desk and found a small box, only to find nothing was in it. When she turned around, there was Caleb with the ring, asking her to spend the rest of their lives together. They celebrated with champagne and dancing. It was perfect.
