In 2020, Adrianna was on vacation in Florida and Nick had just moved there a few months earlier. Thankfully, Adrianna’s best friend Daly convinced her to go — with location sharing turned on and a full escape plan in place. The pizza was average at best, but the company? Instantly unforgettable. What started as a casual “What’s the risk? I’ll never see him again” quickly turned into “It feels like we’ve known each other forever and I don’t want to leave.” Adrianna returned to Chicago, but the world soon flipped upside down.
