AJ & I met while completing our master's degrees at the University of Detroit Mercy, balancing work, classes, and big dreams for the future. As AJ tells it, our story began when he "accidentally" walked into my cracked apartment door, as he mistaken it for the community kitchen. What started off as an unexpected introduction turned into something neither of us could have planned. Through late nights, long conversations, and shared ambitions, we built a love rooted in friendship, faith, and unwavering support for one another. Since then, our journey has taken us from Michigan to Oklahoma, and now to Texas, following AJ's basketball coaching career. On July 8th 2025, along the Mississippi River in Little Falls, Minnesota, AJ asked me to spend forever with him. Surrounded by both of our families, we celebrated the beginning our next chapter. And now, we cannot wait to say "I do" surrounded by the people we love the most!
