What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving 15–30 minutes early to allow time for parking and seating. The ceremony will begin promptly at 12:30 pm.

Is parking available at the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, parking is available near the Santa Barbara Courthouse, though it may be limited on a weekend. • Library Garage (City Lot 7): A covered public parking facility located at 1125 Anapaca Street, offering 75 minutes of free parking, followed by hourly rates. • Street Parking: Metered street parking is available nearby and typically allows 75 minutes. • Public Garage: Located at the corner of Figueroa Street and Anapaca Street. We recommend allowing extra time to find parking.

Is parking available at the after party?

Answer

Yes, parking will be street parking only in the surrounding neighborhood. The home is near downtown Solvang, so depending on where you’re staying, you may have a slightly longer walk.

Will the ceremony or after party be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the after party will be outdoors. May weather is typically comfortable during the day, but it may get cooler in the evening, so we recommend bringing a light jacket.

What is the dress code?

Ceremony: Formal / cocktail attire • After Party: Casual and comfortable Guests are welcome to stay in their ceremony attire if they’d like, but casual outfits are encouraged for comfort.

The after party will begin at 4:00 PM and continue until 9:00 PM. Guests can enjoy tacos, Mexican-inspired appetizers, desserts, an open bar, and music as we celebrate into the evening.

Due to limited space, plus ones are by invitation only. If a plus one has been reserved for you, it will be clearly indicated on your invitation.

We are registered at Crate & Barrel, with a small selection of items. We’ve also included a honeymoon fund for those who wish to help us celebrate our next adventure. Your presence means the world to us, and any gift is truly appreciated.

Can I use my phone during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests refrain from using phones or cameras during the ceremony. Our professional photographer and videographer will be capturing every moment, and we want everyone to be fully present and enjoy the day.
