A catholic marriage is a sacramental union that occurs in a sacred space. As we are two Catholics, we will celebrate matrimony within mass. This will have 5 parts: Introductory Rites Liturgy of the Word Celebration of Matrimony Liturgy of the Eucharist Conclusion of the Celebration Dress code: While there are no rules, we do ask that for this portion of the wedding day, to please ensure that you dress modestly. If you choose a gown that is strapless, has spaghetti-straps, is off the shoulder, or is backless, please wear something over it. A bolero, a wrap, or capelet are all great options and wearing a covering is only required during the marriage ceremony itself. You may remove the covers after you leave the church. The appropriate dress for men is dress shirt, tie, coat, and pants – typically a suit.
