We met on an online dating service. We went to the Appleton PAC and watched Switchfoot and Rapture Ruckus. We hit it off right away..after a huge sigh of relief knowing that Linda was over 21! In a short period of time we both realized we were truly meant to be.

We went to Cancun for a vacation. Little did Linda know that I was going to purpose marriage. After working with a musician, photographer, and the hotel staff I coordinated a game plan. We would walk down the beach and find a message in a bottle. Once we read it, I got down on one knee and propose. All the while the musician is playing our song, the photographer is taking pictures, and I am recording it with spy sunglasses that have a built in camera. After the proposal, we took pictures and had a surf and turf dinner on the beach. When we went back to the room it was decorated with flowers and chocolates and the staff bought us a bottle of champagne! Later that night I showed her a video collage of friends and family wishing her a congratulations. Except for it being 100 degrees and 100% humidity it was truly a magical day!
