Funny story really, one evening at the Grand rooftop we hear a lot of commotion and see Kerry running across the pool. He would run one direction juke and run the other way all while laughing, come to find out he was being chased down by security. Finally, Kerry surrenders only after he has the whole crowds attention and well def. mine :) I thought “this guy is so cool”. Kerry gets the boot and we carry on without him. I head out to the car and notice someone laying on the ground in the middle of the parking lot star gazing and here it’s Kerry again, air drying lol. We laugh about the whole situation and he catches a ride with my sister and I, we make it a min. down the road to stop and get gas just for him to get left by Kodie. No we didn’t go back after him, I tried honestly but I wasn’t driving haha. So, that’s how we met and it’s been a wrap since. All jokes aside Kerry and I dated and realized we had a lot of fun together and decided not to part ever again

I planned a trip to Colorado to see JCole for your bday and take the kids to see the mountains the next day. Your mom was joining us. As I'm thinking about where we're at in our relationship plus the trip we're about to go on as a family a light went off that it would be the perfect time to propose at the top of a mountain in the heart of the Rockies with the kids and your mom to witness. I let everyone know in our immediate family my plans, and everyone was excited and jealous that they weren't going to be there.. we go pick up the ring together, but i tell u it's your bday gift, so u can't see it. We have a blast at jcole for your birthday. Afterward, we met a newly wed couple, and u were so happy for them, and they were total strangers. I secretly told them i was proposing to you the next day. We go to the mountains and explore a bit and get a room in Vail where i plan to propose. When we get there, the gondola is closed until the winter season in a couple of weeks. So i go into scramble mode and find a trail to hike that's close before everyone wants to check in the room. We park and hike to the top while you're looking out at the scenery. i get down on one knee and tug at you from behind. You slap my hand away without looking. When u finally turn around, you look shocked yet surprised in a goodish way, lol. I give my spill, you seem excited and overwhelmed, you dont give an answer, but your body language is saying yes, so i say you never answered me. Then the wedding bells go off as you say yes, we kiss and are engaged on Oct. 15, 2021 We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
