Question

What is on the menu for the Wedding Breakfast?

Answer

Starter: Lamb Kofta. Served with toasted flat bread, pickled cucumber and fig salad and a minted yoghurt dressing. Vegan: Parsnip and Apple Soup. Finished with a green herb oil, apple crisps and diced apple. Main: Chicken and Smoked Pancetta Pie. Topped with a crispy puff pastry. Served with creamy champ mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Vegan: Juicy Marbles Vegan Steak. Served with balsamic toasted tomatoes, mushrooms, hand cut chips and vegan pepper sauce. Dessert: Homemade Vanilla Cheesecake. Served with chantilly cream, Baileys and honeycomb crunchie topping. Vegan: Fruits of the Forest pudding. Served with raspberry sorbet. Children’s Menu: Starter: Garlic Bread. Main: Chicken Goujons, chips and beans. Vegetarian: Vegetarian sausages, chips and beans. Dessert: Mini chocolate coated cream puff.

Is there food for the Evening Reception?

Answer

We will be putting on a ‘Taste of the USA’ buffet consisting of: Mix of bagels: pastrami and cream cheese, or roasted vegetables and vegan cheese. Mix of burgers: beef burgers, southern fried chicken burgers, and vegan plant based burgers. Shoestring fries. Buttermilk ranch dressed salad. American mustard and burger relish, burger cheese slices and dill pickles.

What if I have a dietary Requirement/Allergy?

Answer

Most Dietary requirements can be catered for. Please let us know when you RSVP, and we will do our best to accommodate. For allergies- please let us know when you RSVP, so we can inform the venue.

Can children come to the wedding?

Answer

Yes! If we have added children to you invite, then we would love for them to attend. There will be a quiet area if it all gets too much for them, and children’s food will be provided. If they would like an adult meal, let us know when you RSVP, and we will arrange this. If you want to have a child-free day, then please don’t feel you have to bring your children :)

Is there accommodation at the wedding?

Answer

The rooms at the wedding venue have been reserved for the wedding party. We have included a number of hotels close by, and phone numbers for taxis (which should be pre booked in advance to ensure availability).

Do you have a Gift List?

Answer

You attending our special day is the best gift we could receive. If you would like to give us a gift, then a contribution to our honeymoon would be most appreciated. We will be going on an Alaskan Cruise, and any gifts will be used to buy experiences offered to make our honeymoon extra special! Is there parking?

Answer

Yes! The wedding venue has plenty of free parking. All vehicles must have left by 10am on Sunday 25 May 25.

What if it is raining?

Answer

We hope the sun will be shining throughout the wedding; but if it does rain, then the ceremony will take place inside.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

If you are a guest for the ceremony, then all guests should be seated by 12:45pm. Guests can arrive from 12:00pm, and the bar will be open for your use before the ceremony. Evening guests may arrive from 18:30pm.

Where should I sit during the ceremony?

Answer

Guests may sit on both sides of the aisle. The front 2 rows are reserved for the Wedding Party.

What time should I go home?

Answer

The evening reception will finish at 11:45pm, and guests not staying at the venue are to be clear by 12:00am.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP from this website. If you are struggling with the website, please contact Adrian or Helen, and we can RSVP on your behalf.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by 13 March 2025. If there are any changes needed after this date, please contact Adrian or Helen. We fully appreciate the volatility of Military life, and changes to people’s circumstances.

Is there a Dress Code/Theme?

Answer

Please dress to impress! Military Uniform is welcome (and encouraged!). There is no theme, but we request no jeans, ball gowns, or wedding dresses!!!

Can I take photos?

Answer

Please feel free to take photos throughout the day; but we have 2 wedding photographers, who we request are the only people taking photos during the ceremony (there will be a chance for people to take photos once the ceremony finishes!). Please don’t post photos before we have put some up on Social Media.
