What time should I be at Porta?
Answer
Please plan to arrive between 3:50 PM - 4:00 PM. Porta doors will open at 4:00 PM sharp.

What should I wear?
Answer
Please plan to dress in cocktail hour attire - a balance between formal and casual, as well as elegant and comfortable. We want everyone to feel confident while enjoying the evening's festivities. Do not forget to bring your dancing shoes! We look forward to celebrating in style! Women: Knee-length dresses, tea-length dresses, midi dresses, maxi dresses, jumpsuits, nice top and pants. Colors, florals, and patterns welcomed! Please no white/ivory/cream. Men: Suits, blazers, sports jackets, dress pants.

Are kids welcomed?

We kindly request that our celebration be adults-only. The only children attending are immediate family of the bride and groom. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can still join us for this special day.

Will there be shuttle services?
Answer
Yes - a shuttle service will be provided to and from Hampton Inn - Neptune/Wall and Porta for the convenience of our guests. Considering down-the-shore traffic, the shuttle will depart Hampton Inn - Neptune/Wall at 3:15pm sharp and head to Porta. The shuttle will leave Porta at 9:15pm and head back to the Hampton Inn - Neptune/Wall. For those staying for the After Party, there will be an additional shuttle leaving Porta at 11:15pm, heading to Hampton Inn - Neptune/Wall.

Is parking available at the venue?

Unfortunately, Porta does not offer on-site parking and Asbury Park, NJ has limited street-parking. Please plan to request an Uber or Lyft to/from Porta if you've chosen an accommodation outside our room block at Hampton Inn - Neptune/Wall.

What's the weather usually like during this time of year?
Answer
In late August, Asbury Park, NJ, typically experiences warm weather with average highs ranging from 78°F to 83°F (25.5°C to 28.3°C) and lows between 64°F to 68°F (17.8°C to 20°C). However, we recommend checking the weather as it gets closer to the event.
