Question
How does local transport work?
Answer
We recommend renting a car with a group! Ride-sharing apps like Lyft and Uber are NOT allowed in Hood River. It is a 1 hour drive from PDX to Hood River. You can take a Lyft/Uber to Hood River but you cannot take one back as they do not pick up in Hood River. We will provide shuttles to/from the wedding venue from/to downtown Hood River. Both Thursday and Saturday events are walkable from downtown Hood River

How does transport to the wedding work?
Answer
For drivers, we've reserved you a spot at the venue. If you want to drive and have not yet told us, please let us know ASAP! For everyone else, we will have two 24-seat vans making runs to the venue. Check your email for your assigned van pick up time, it will be one of these: 3:45 | Van #1 pick up at Riverview Lodge 3:45 | Van #2 pick up at Hood River Hotel 4:00 | Van #1 pick up at Riverview Lodge 4:00 | Van #2 pick up at Hood River Hotel At the end of the night (10pm), the vans will drop us all off at the Hood River Hotel (nearby to where the party continues) or at the Riverview Lodge. Just hop on the one you prefer!

What’s the dress code for the wedding?
Answer
Dance ready. Colorful. Comfy. Be you in all your splendor! Note that it might be windy so layers are best.

What might the weather be like?
Answer
High temperatures are typically in the low 70s and low temperatures are typically in the low 50s. Just like in the Bay, you have to have layers!! Hood River is famous for its wind so be prepared for that! Fingers crossed we get some really gorgeous temps for our 3 days of festivities

Will there be an after-party?
Answer
YES. We can't imagine calling it quits at 10pm so we will be mobilizing to a bar downtown, either Whiskey Tango or Oak St Pub There will NOT be transport after the after-party so plan for DDs or walking

What if I would like to give you two a gift?
Answer
Thank you! Check out the Baby Fund on our registry :) Or we will happily accept gifts at the brewery hang on Thursday evening. If you prefer to mail something, our home address is 1107 Chestnut St, Oakland, CA, 94607.

We strongly advise y'all to test before you travel and to stay home if you are sick. Hopefully no one will be!
