Navy & Champagne
The day began like any other, with us dashing around town, engaging in our usual antics. Shopping and grabbing tacos were our delights of the day. As we reached the final store, he suddenly said we had to leave because Brittany was calling, insisting we needed to be somewhere. Once in the car, he turned to me with a mischievous grin and said I had to be blindfolded. Anyone who knows me would understand that I resisted, arguing fiercely. Yet, here we are, so I suppose he won that round. We drove for what felt like miles, with the thrill of the journey making my heart race as if we were speeding through life together. When we finally stopped, he gently led me out of the car, instructing me not to move. I clung to his arm as he guided me down a sidewalk, the anticipation building with every step. He then told me to count to 45 before removing the blindfold. As I lifted it, I was met with a path lined with flowers and heartfelt signs expressing what he loved about me. My eyes followed the trail to a gazebo, where he stood waiting, down on one knee. The scene was so sweet and beautiful, a moment I will cherish forever.
