What will the wedding menu be like?

Our caterer will be serving a delicious, gourmet menu of all vegetarian cuisine. There will be several gluten free and vegan options.

The ceremony will start at 4:30pm. Guests can start to arrive at 4pm.

Where will the ceremony be?
Answer
Our plan is to have our ceremony outside, weather permitting, in the building's courtyard. All surfaces are paved, Please dress appropriately as needed. Reception will be indoors.

What is the attire?

Colorful cocktail! Wear cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and suits. We would love to see guests in colors that they love!

What are the transportation options?
Answer
Parking space at the venue, Globe Dye Works, is quite limited. We kindly suggest utilizing Uber for your convenience. Please utilize our wedding's Uber voucher code, which will provide you with a credit to/from the venue from 1pm to midnight. The voucher code should have been provided, with instructions, via email to you or someone you’re attending with. If you're new to Uber, feel free to seek assistance from someone familiar with the app. We also encourage carpooling to make the journey more enjoyable for everyone!

When should I call an Uber?
Answer
For those using Uber, we recommend checking Google Maps to see what traffic is like, as it may get busy. Uber should not take more than 10 minutes to arrive once you've called it. They will give you an estimated time for their arrival. On a day with no traffic, it is normally 20 minutes from Hilton Penn's Landing to Globe Dye Works -- but please, check traffic!

What is the parking like at Globe Dye Works?

There's a small parking lot available for guests at 2158 Kinsey St. (the intersection of Kinsey St. and Worth St.), conveniently situated diagonally across from Globe Dye Works. Street parking is also an option on Worth St, Kinsey St, and Torresdale Ave.

Will there be a brunch the day after the wedding?
Answer
Yes - all guests are welcome to join us for a casual brunch on Sunday morning at Hilton Penn's Landing. We will have a private room ("The Admiral's Quarters") available from 10am to 12pm, and guests can enjoy the hotel's breakfast buffet.

Where should I park at the hotel?
Answer
Hotel self-parking is available in back of hotel (see map in our email). You should be able to ask the restaurant for a discount card for parking if you’re joining us for brunch.
